I refuse to use one, let alone pay for it. I prefer to own things as opposed to renting them. It’s one of the reasons I’m into vinyl.

Ooof, I actually enjoy streaming services. It allows me to window shop for vinyl therefore curate my collection to what I REALLY enjoy rather than having lots of pieces I thought I was gonna like but didn't

I was the same way but spotify's algorithm and the music it has introduced me to makes it worth every penny

I agree with you...but my wallet disagrees. I am such a music junkie I have to stream or I'd be broke. (and I would have no place for furniture and would be storing records in my oven and kitchen cabinets)

I was of the same mindset for a while, but being able to sample music before committing to vinyl saves time and money. That being said, if you have family (Or 5 people who want to go in on it with you), sign up for Spotify's family account, I think it's $20 a month, but you can have up to 5 people on the account..........that MIGHT make it an easier pill to swallow ;)

I plan to pass my Spotify playlists down to my sons. And then down to their sons. For generations until Spotify goes bankrupt.

Solidarity, brother. I keep saying I'm going to do Spotify, but I can't manage to add that $7/mo charge to my budget sheet yet.

I do the family plan. $14.99 for 5 people is solid IMO

My daughter might be getting her first cell phone soon, so that would make a family plan more likely. For the most part, though, I know I'd only use Spotify to listen to albums I'm curious about that aren't on Bandcamp or Youtube...
