Most I keep on top of one of my shelves...but I have more that need to be filed and don't have any more room up there, unless I find somewhere to move my CD and tape decks.
I keep soundtrack box sets with the soundtracks, though. If they fit in the cube, as some box sets are just too tall.
boxes in my basement. artist box sets are labelled with a little insert and mixed in with my main collection. label box sets (like VMP anthologies) are all stored together in a cube
Currently they are with the lps but soon I gotta get my own cube for them. Honestly wondering how every stores 45s and singles? I hate getting them because I never know where to put ‘em
My boxsets have a dedicated cube, though I only have a handful. My main 4x2 Kallax is close to full, so they're in the smaller 2x2 my player sits on. For my 45's I use one of these in the 2x2 as well KNAGGLIG Box, pine, 9x12 ¼x6" - IKEA
Along with the LPs unless they don't fit, so stuff like the Kate Bush boxes or The Epic are in the cubicles but Beatles in Mono and In Rainbows are in their own place.
If possible I break my set out from the box and file the album’s alphabetically per Discogs and store the box elsewhere. If I am unable to break them out I will file the whole box within my collection (Kallax willing) if they don’t fit there I have a separate area to store them.
In with cubes. If the box opens outward then I keep it open for ease of access to the LPs (Bowie boxes are like this). Otherwise they're kind of annoying. Thinking about pulling out the LPs and storing the boxes elsewhere.
