honestly its more metaverse bullshit... people thinking everyone would adapt to a future where we're all wearing giant VR sets and the ideas of simulator sickness don't exist

Looks like an awesome bit of kit, I only wish I had the excuse. And the spare income.

I personally love the vision of integrating these systems into my workflow. I work in tech and consider myself an avid futurist, I love the idea of remotely working in enhanced environments like this, and then the fact that you can drop out of that and right into immersive entertainment makes it magic to me.

I was laughing from enjoyment and and geekiness the whole time, feels like the coolest toy ever invented to me.

I was thinking, could a surgeon use them to access images, information, and have help while performing surgery?

Me, I hope work buys me one so we can develop / prototype on one. Otherwise nope, not in my budget. I would pay $3500 for a new MacBook Pro, because I will get my use out of it, but I don't see ever using the Apple Vision Pro enough to justify the price.

I want this too. Going to have to try and think up a reason to convince the uni to buy me one for research.
