I can see that point as well. No arguments from me, we all have to balance our choices, and it can certainly be offset in other ways.

I do choose other options when they're available and not nakedly inferior, though.

@djdavedk the only problem with Popeye's is while the sandwich is superior in every way, one does not simply "stop in". You have to prepare for "Anything Can Happen Day" once you get there

The Popeyes chicken sandwich is superior but the Spicy chicken sandwich is a letdown because it is literally the regular sandwich plus spicy mayo. Give me a spicy coating and you have my wallet.

It's one thing to be an avid consumer and only go there because you agree with their superior's agenda, and another to just go once in a while for something to eat. It's pretty good. I do prefer Popeye's though. In the end, I wouldn't say buying a chicken sandwich makes you a homophobe.

My older daughter is a lesbian and loves Chick-fil-a so I guess that's our get out of jail free card. I love their spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries. I wish they would make spicy waffle fries.
