I like kids, sure, but at work, during a pandemic? Not as much. My boss' wife's sister and her 5-year-old twins are here for lunch. It just doesn't sit well with me. (I'm not alone, several employees are put off)

The trashing of my backyard lawn by the tree service has inspired me to put up a new tool shed, dig a fire pit and start on my raised bed project. Making lemonade out of that sour deal!
Yikes. A tree service destroyed my back yard, dented my tool shed and killed a spruce tree, all in one visit.

Great news! I have a chipmunk in my basement. I still haven't actually seen him, but the pine cones and golf ball size acorns left at the bottom of the stairs are pretty good clues. Now all I can think is; is he running around my whole house at night?

These USPS irritations are (almost) enough to make me quit buying records for awhile. Finally got one yesterday that took almost 30 days, now two more are at two weeks. One of them left Ann Arbor (12 miles away) and went to Pittsburgh.
After 26 days, my record showed! I even got a call from the local branch of the post office to confirm that I received it. Once I saw how well it was packaged I wasn't worried about damage. Kudos to Acoustic Sounds for their shipping box.
Welp, time to report a coworker for posting a meme full of N bombs on FB on the company Wifi on company time. This should feel good. Unless the bosses ignore it.
It's funny that the tracking number isn't enough info for USPS to find my missing record. They are really concerned about the color of the package though...ummm brown? White maybe?
Tomorrow will be day 20 of a shipped record bouncing around in USPS. It left Kansas on June 3rd, arrived in Detroit June 11th and tracking shows it hasn't moved since June 15th. I guess I'll........wait some more. -
