whoa. I hope they take this seriously and do the right thing. Good luck.

They have a history on NOT doing the right thing around here. I am as close to job hunting as I ever have been in my 32 years here. It would be hard to leave, and yet I struggle with many of my coworkers and their sometimes subtle sometimes overt racism. The thing is, it's a meme bashing Biden using that word. But come on, the meme was made so people could post that word. It's f-ing disgusting to me.

Ughhhh. I'm sorry, that's awful. What kind of company is it?

Sorry that you're in this predicament; even if they don't care enough on a personal level, I wonder if it would matter to them if it leads to the company getting a reputation? Lots of examples of companies that have to comment publicly on the behavior of their employees, especially when something happens on company time. This will become representative of their business whether they want it to or not.

@McGlam - We're a subcontractor in the construction industry. There's lots of racism, misogyny and intolerance to the LGBT community. Luckily not everyone here is this way, my boss is truly a good person and I've known him for decades. He's currently (and finally) putting policies in place as far as how to handle employees that spew this crap.

@Indymisanthrope - That's one of my main gripes here is that this guy is on the company Wifi with this hate speak. I guess he's allowed to do it on his own time, but here, I can't let him. I know that in theory I should stay off FB at work, but I was on lunch and was quickly revolted by seeing his post. I can't be alone on this.
