Orange skies where I am. My aunt + uncle in California are debating evacuation. In Albany (where my father is working), the skies are littered with ash. Enough with this year already.
Power outage here since 6:30 PM local time (got off work at 1:00 AM on OT shift). Limited street lamps functional in a mile or two of where I live.
Driving home has never been more terrifying and unsettling.
Today I found out that my favorite record store in Portland (Musique Plastique) fell victim to COVID-19, closing their doors permanently. I am gutted and dejected.
Unsure how this week can be salvaged.
I only purchased 3 records from Bandcamp yesterday, and didn't break $100 as I thought I would. However, now that I have GNGO's previously linked spreadsheet, I will be more prepared going into purchases on the site in two weeks. Very excited!
Looks like Bandcamp is waiving their revenue share again this Friday. This in addition to donation of 100% of their share of sales to NAACP on June 19.
