However the more I look at it, the more it raises the cool factor tbh. That thing is pretty bad ass.

Yeah I got a very good price, nowhere near MSRP, but the main reason I took the plunge, $550 rebuild cost.
Which of course means Lederman will retire and SoundSmith will close it's doors by like... April. Becauuuuuse me.

Thinking about spending some coin on a Butcher Block Acoustics platform for my 1210GR. I know I can DIY to save money but I’m not overly worried about the cost difference to convenience factor here. Anyone using a BBA platform in their setup?
