I understand what you're doing, but that's not the meaning of a discount on a negative value. A discount is the reduction of a value, so a discount on a negative value reduces the negative value in the same way as it would with a positive value, i.e. makes it closer to zero.

You likely forgot a negative sign when you used your formula.

x - (x * y%) = z

-100 - (-100 * 40%) = -100 - (-40) = -100 + 40 = -60

Except as others said, the discord is dead. All the people who were active and engaged have left for another discord. And many have scrubbed all their posts there.

There's no list of names associated with the handles? So it's just a list of bulletin board handles? A list of handles from a dead board is pretty useless then, yeah. Unless it can be crossed with emails and names from VMP's subscription database...

They have all they need from the VMP accounts. You can't delete them. You have to ask them to delete it so pretty much all that info is locked in. Credit card info as well. I tried to zero out my card info but no dice...

Yeah, I understand, but there was a debate as to whether there was value to the Discord user list. What I was saying is that there is because it's a subset of VMP members that can be considered as more engaged users. Maybe somebody wants that? How much it's worth, who knows.

That's assuming there are names associated with the Discord user list, because if not, the value diminishes a lot.

I don’t believe there are any names or email addresses visibly linked to discord handles, but could be wrong. If anybody wants to scrub their posts, there’s a chrome extension that will remove any posts on discord from your username on a specific discord. Pretty easy to do.
