Maybe Harman will supply it with some corporate ethics?

You like when they had a surprise all hands meeting which was required for all employees, including those on PTO, with less than 24 hours notice. And what did this all hands message consist of you ask? Announcing that 50% of the pro division was going to be laid off that day, and everyone should know their "status" by 3pm ET. That was a fun day. I went from a 4 person team to flying solo in a matter of hours. The best part way NO ONE knew why this was happening... until later. We were also instructed to pause ALL contract renewals and cut a number of vendors and contract workers by end of week.

What happened later you ask? Well a few weeks later we learned all the cuts were purely to pump up the stock price in the final moments before announcing the Samsung acquisition. But it helped close out the joint Harman/Samsung contract for the new LA Rams stadium.

Yes, this is a company with PEAK ethics that LOVES it's employees and it's brands' histories. 🙃

May catch heat for this, but has Denon ever been desirable from any (vintage or modern) perspective? I rarely see their stuff floating around, and have only seen the Denon budget receivers/turntables, which don't have much of a soul/personality when you look at them (they look like every other black receiver on the market).

So much for optimism. Looks like it will be worse than Sound United then.
