You are all right. First tried chips with mayonnaise is Holland and it worked well. Eating it with mayonnaise in Ireland however would make you a deviant. Also they are chips not French fries. I also correct my children when they ask for candy instead of sweets.

Yeah I think read that the whole French Fries things came from American soldiers stationed in Belgium and France and their kind of rough translation of pomme frites.

Also you pass one of those skinny things off as a chip and I’m not going to be impressed. I order chips and I want a proper substantial hunk of potato and don’t be fobbing me off with that ole veg or rapeseed oil, beef dripping for the win!

That Luke Elliot lp for 7 bucks is a steal. I played the daylights out of that lp last year, and it consistently finds its way to my turntable.

Got this today, it's definitely OJC. Sounds good, cut nice and loud. I don't know much about the OJC releases though but I'm enjoying this. Still $11 if anyone's interested...

I think there was a convo on SHF about these onshopbase pop up sites. It's a great workout for your for CC chargeback skill as they will likely never ship and just disappear from the internet after a while. And as stereotypical as it sounds- when you see "Spend from $70 to get free shipping" it's a great time to close the window and enjoy your day. Scammers and grammar were never meant to be together.

A lot of these sites (this one included) just seem to be using Turntable Lab listings for whatever reason. Like, just showing the exact image and write-up from TTL. It's pretty funny to read when the description for a record includes something like "Turntable Lab staff favorite" 😂

It's pretty disappointing to see these scam sites popping up all over, but at least (so far) it's just scam listings and not actual knock-offs of coveted releases. I assume that's yet to come.
