Having trouble imagining a situation when I will be in the mood for Phoebe Bridgers and Rico Nasty in the same listening session.
Hahahahaha! Word.Cool an Ab-InBev cross promotion, fuck that!

Sounds like the record version of a VMP Spotify playlist put on shuffle.Throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Not saying these artists are shit, just a whack combination of seemingly unrelated artists and vibes.
Mixtapes on vinyl never really made sense to me, unless it’s a soundtrack. The experience is all about listening to a cohesive unit, whether it be an album or a soundtrack (that resonates with the film). If I wanted to listen to a Spotify playlist, I’d open up Spotify. Just my personal preference.Angle Olson and Young Thug? Sharon Von Etten and Rico Nasty? TF is this compilation
I will say that the VMP 303 mixtapes were decent. Sounded more cohesive even with the different genres. Like a community festival with all local acts.Mixtapes on vinyl never really made sense to me, unless it’s a soundtrack. He might have nothing now. Someone may have taken him up on the offer.I mean, I know someone who has them... @Enoch
I kinda like the idea of compilations on vinyl tbh though I know I'm probably in the minority on that one. I just like to see at least some kind of link between them. I have the Moshi Moshi anniversary 3LP and I think it's pretty great despite a hella eclectic tracklist: Various - 20 Years of Moshi Moshi
I know Vinyl Moon is also mildly successful but I feel that sub is more about music discovery of unknown artists (and great packaging) than anything else.I kinda like the idea of compilations on vinyl tbh though I know I'm probably in the minority on that one. Anyone else subscribe to CMJ New Music Monthly in the 90s? I don't think I have many, if any, of those CDs anymore.
I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THAT!!!
