Ah pity. Not my favourite Joni album and super available. I have a Bellman that sounds great and you can get this in the really good Grundman series in black or colour plus there’s a one step on the way. I was hoping they do something more rare if they went there.

It's gonna be more rare because they will initially release it with a typo nobody caught, so if you're in from the beginning you'll get yourself a sleeve that says The Pissing of Summer Lawns ;)

they said something about different cut + different presentation which makes me think there would be some bonus material...but not sure.

I mean different doesn’t mean better and given all 3 are pretty much audiophile presentations and with the anthologies being so comprehensive will they dig up anything else?

I’m not trying to be too harsh, they’ve picked a good album that really didn’t need another new version of it done.
 
the for members window is going to end this week... the price and free shipping stuff is still there but unless its something that they know will sell out they are just going to let everyone get it right away

I think it makes sense. Kind of like letting people who didn’t know what happened with the last Dolly record though, it should be communicated to all (affected) members in an official capacity.

Yea hoping they do that. Pretty sure it just got brought up because they did an informal live Q&A thing today.

Communication is their biggest problem and pretty much always has been. They like to deliver messages to a small few and let it trickle out. They haven’t responded to my official query about the Dolly. But I have a response that my record is secured on a forum.

Or they will find a scapegoat whether it is a hurricane or saddle creek or that the forum they created is too toxic.

I don’t even know what the Dolly issue is (but I wasn’t subbed to that track).

I've never thought of it that way although I'm sure a lot of collectors do it that way. I buy soundtracks when they have great music on them regardless of what I think of the movie.
