Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

@Mather The Lyngdorf TDAI has a full suite of bass management and room correction to integrate the sub for music. The Gold Note IS-1000 has HT Bypass and variable preouts to connect the sub (and is better looking than the Lyngdorf, while costing less), the Hegel H190 and H200 allow the same, and since you already have a Parasound Halo price, the Halo 6 integrated has analog high-pass and low-pass filters for integrated sub control. I had the previous gen HINT and it was a very solid and musical piece.

Spendy (similar price to the Lux), there are the Yamaha A-S3200 and maybe the previous version that also ape the main-In/ pre-out type configuration that Luxman has. They’re pretty too.

That Yamaha is sexy AF

Anyone have any experience with the Musical Fidelity MXSI500? Appears it would also work...

Actually.... might be same sub issue there... No output for it...NVRMND

No place for sub no? Pre Out for HT Bypass but nothing left for sub?
Not trying to be snarky but could you email some of these companies and just ask if what you're trying to do is possible? I'd definitely trust them over some of the losers in this thread. I'M KIDDING LOSERS!!!

No the pre out is for the sub, or if you wanted to use it as a pre amp to a separate power amplifier. The HT bypass goes into the input port marked AUX/HT and you flip the little toggle switch above it to HT.

So looking through the musical fidelity website looking a manuals I saw this and got excited. The original was something I’ve always coveted.

Then I see that where the original was €3.5k this one is…..

…. £10k

Okay no one judge me.

@Joe Mac, or really anyone who knows.

HT Bypass are analog inputs yes? So looking at this. I have the line outs for the sub and the Analog inputs for the HT bypass we think yes? I'm reading the manual and it appears that's correct but I'm not certain. And yes, it's a Levinson 5805.
Stop looking at me.

So analogue inputs can be HT bypass but most aren’t. Most are just analogue inputs into the preamplifier section. What you need is either ones that bypass the preamplifier section, like the mains in on the luxman, or that can be switched to bypass the preamp either by a physical switch, like on the musical fidelity, or through the firmware, like my ps audio.
