Yeah, that's spot on...I'll second that Riot Fest was awesome this year.

my biggest logistical nuisance was that they reduced the number of port-a-potties in all but two places in the park, so unless you were in those two parts of the park, there was significant lines to wait in. Also, will echo that having a second exit would be nice, but I understand that it is the way it is to make things better for the nearby hospital.

Go 4 It
(Requested by a little dying boy in a wheelchair. He died during the song.)
I’m embarrassed to admit, I have the Go 4 It RSD 7” 😂 My store got in only one, and it was still there when it was my turn, so I bought it. 🤷‍♀️

I think they’re at a point where the logistical concessions they’ve had to make to the neighborhood has started to severely impact the fan experience, all the while the price has gone up considerably the past few years.

Someone did a piece on how artists in this era may have the streaming numbers and apparent popularity but don’t actually have fan bases. Feels like this may be the case here. Nothing against the guy, but it’s inoffensive folk. The Dan Fogelberg of our time. Plus he did a song with Post Malone and Zach Bryan, so that’s an instant million+ streams.

Or maybe he’s the new Lord Huron? He blew up when his one song hit that Netflix show, then disappeared once the influencers were done with him.

He's massive all over Instagram, but honestly outside of that I am not sure how much popularity he has in terms of widespread acclaim / appeal. I've never heard one of his songs, but I've seen posts of his vinyl so many times over the last two years.

You are obviously not an influencer on the Gram. I think most everyone has heard Stick Season or Dial Drunk even if you didn't know who the artist was when you heard it.
Had never heard of him until a few weeks ago. Saw he was playing Oceans Calling in Ocean City (which we had planned to attend, but couldn't) Since then, I've seen his name all over. Still don't think I would know a single song by him...
