It's a great box set.In case anyone missed it last time around, the last Big Box O’ Bowie is about 50% off MSRP.

Yep. I paid full price when it came out and don’t regret it.It's a great box set.
It was $75ish at DD previously. Crazy good deal.
this went down to $75 at DD? damn! i don't know that i like this era of Bowie enough to take up the shelf space but that definitely would have been tempting! It's a great box set.

i think its just a lesser known period in Bowie's career...that's what kept me from buying it. i don't need every bowie album on vinyl, let alone 18 from a period i'm not that familiar with.yeah, back in april. kind of surprised it's even as low as it currently is, given the contents. original & reissue pressings of several of those albums go for over $100 a piece. i thought this box set would be way more popular than it is.
i guess 18 lps is a bit daunting for some.
The live album is probably the best one included IMO but agree it's not the most popular Bowie era.
I need to check that out. I don't think I have cleaned or played everything in the box yet.having outside unabridged with decent sound is also a pretty big deal.
this box is wayyyy more enjoyable than the one that came before it (which was also dropping down to the $70 price)
Man, you think you know a guy…i don't need every bowie album on vinyl

Seriously. I think all of the boxes take up half of the top of my 4x4, and that doesn’t even count the looseys.I have most of the LPs in that Bowie box, at least the ones I want. I dislike the cover art on Toy.
Hours... is fine to have on CD at the moment.
I think my Bowie records already come close to filling a Kallax cube.

judging by the above responses, it already hasn't! hahaThis post may not age well.
Does anybody need Landing On Water?Next he’ll say he doesn’t need every Neil Young album…
I am with you on this. Too busy filling my shelves with 8xLP reissues of Nevermind and mid Neil Young Box sets to jump on a giant late period Bowie boxsets.judging by the above responses, it already hasn't! haha
even at $70 I think I gotta pass on it. I'd maybe listen to it once. then it would take up half a kallax cube. ain't nobody got room for that!
