I started with solid air too - tbh - I don’t think it’s the high point of his catalog- but it started a golden era - One World is also a great album too - the track Small Hours is stunning

For those hunting this down my copy is this reissue below and is absolutely fine - the original was absolutely a DIY release despatched from Johns home as Island amazingly rejected releasing it

Great pick. John Martyn is so underrecognized / underappreciated. Such a great talent. RIP.

John Martyn superfan @DeadwaxDude gifted me Bless the Weather a few years back, which I am a big fan of. I've listened to Solid Air a handful of times as well and enjoyed it, though it hasn't quite grabbed me the same yet. Looking forward to checking out this live record.

This live album is great. For those searching down an original UK press it is cool knowing it once sat filling up the living room of his house

I found my UK original at a bookstore for like 8$ so they can be found! Anytime light can be thrown John's way it's worth it, this album is great!
