Horkos’s sutures from his mass removal got infected so his recovery time is a little longer, but he’s been a sweetie the whole time. Got him a new dino toy and it’s been his comfort buddy.

I know! He was put on two antibiotics (oral & topical) and I have to clean the area 2 times a day.Oh, my heart!
We lost our Lab just under a year ago, and my son has been jonesing for a replacement so he went out and adopted this guy. Going with "Doc"or "Odin". His name at the shelter was Doctor Teeth. He was found hiding under a car with multiple lacerations and an injured eye that they had to remove. We've had him about 3 days, he's incredibly sweet and settling in nicely. The cat isn't quite enamored with him yet though.

Bravo. Every pet we've ever had has come from a rescue/shelter/pound. They're just the best. We had a one-eyed Brittany with back legs that didn't develop properly. Pouring one out for ol' Chester...We lost our Lab just under a year ago, and my son has been jonesing for a replacement so he went out and adopted this guy. Going with "Doc"or "Odin". I vote Odin as well, but realize that you will most likely start calling him Odie for short. We lost our Lab just under a year ago, and my son has been jonesing for a replacement so he went out and adopted this guy. I vote Odin as it would give you another reason to quote The Anchorman. We lost our Lab just under a year ago, and my son has been jonesing for a replacement so he went out and adopted this guy. We did have a Pug named Otis years ago (from Milo & Otis naturally) that we also called Odie, so it is coming full circle!I vote Odin as well, but realize that you will most likely start calling him Odie for short.
I'm going to choose to believe that Chester was named after Patterson Hoods stepdad. 18 Wheels of Love and the freedom to yell "Goddamit Chester" at will is the first thing I thought of.Bravo.
