I can't find a tracklist but all of the articles about this describe it as an album, not an EP. Where did you see it's an EP?

30 is definitely really short but I can definitely consider that an album. Something that is only 22 minutes long is definitely an ep not an album regardless of how many tracks it has. In my opinion the ideal length for an album is around 40 minutes or longer.

I blame cds for this. Bloated albums, and the ubiquitous hidden bonus track after 15min of silence that was just the band making armpit fart sounds for another 3 minutes.
