This will probably break my heart, but they've been on my want list for a while and I kept holding off so...

I don't think they've been particularly hard to find copies of even now. Opel is a slight exception, as it hasn't popped up as often as the other two. But either way it's not bad to grab all three in one swoop. If they end up getting pressed somewhere, hell anywhere, other than Third Man I'll definitely lean that way, but price wise it doesn't seem terrible for the risk.

I think the game with this one is if you’ll be able to get the set after release for less.

Elephant XX is over what retail was. Miles is hovering above retail. Sleep, Carole King, Primus, Dylan, and the most recent live Vault are all under, so it might be worth waiting. That’s my current plan but have a few weeks.

When I add tax and shipping it would have to be about $15 under the sub price to even out, and then I can't get help if it's warped or damaged. At least that was my rationalization.

Yeah I think that totally makes sense. I balked on Elephant and luckily only had to pay $5 more than retail shipped. I’m more more willing to wait on this one but for 3 albums, it’s actually a great price.
 
Yeah, i've been extremely picky with the Vaults I choose the last few years but this one is pretty much a no brainer for me! All I have of Syd is that RSD compilation from about a decade or so ago and have been meaning to grab the rest ever since.

I could def. be wrong but I have a feeling this one isn't going below retail like much of the recent vaults have outside of Elephant. Still hate dropping a random $75 but at least it's half of what VMP would charge! Thanks @Yer Ol' Uncle D for giving me a perfectly valid explanation of why I need to get it now and that it's BASICALLY half off. How can I say no, right?
