Day 27
Warren Peace (War and Peace) was the stage name of Geoff MacCormack, a long time friend of David’s and collaborator with him in the 70s.
Play a pun or a literary allusion

Franz Ferdinand "Tonight: Franz Ferdinand" (2009 Domino; 2021 reissue)
Ulysses is obviously inspired by The Odyssey.

Blonde Redhead – Melody Of Certain Damaged Lemons

Like @Hemotep, I'm going to celebrate the Needles & Grooves AOTM by playing @MadLucas's selection from October 2021.

I just picked that one up a few weeks ago. The pressing is quite nice for a reasonable price.

I grabbed this used copy when I was in Vancouver to see Isbell a few months back, but this is the first time I've spun it. Sounds great. The sleeve has definitely lived a life, but the price was nice because of that!

Day 20
June 20 1969, David records the song Space Oddity. It only reached #5 in the UK charts in 1969, but went to #1 in the UK when re-released in 1975.
Play a song or album that got a “2nd life”

I didn't scroll back to see everyone's posts, so sorry if I repeat anything.

Not that The Weight was ever unpopular, or gone from radio play, but when this song-around-the-world video came around it really moved a lot of people.

Sault "11" (2023 Forever Living Originals)
Time to play a little of the backlog. This one sort of fits @jamieanderson1968 's words for this prompt. Bear with me. X is the roman numeral for 10. This album goes to "11" man! It's my favorite Sault record so far, topping "5". The bassline in the opening track is killer.
