Pre-Order Thread

Blond went nuts because there are no other variants. It will go Scum Fuck levels, at least, though

My thinking is it'll sell for even more than Scum Fuck mainly due to the alternate album art. I'm sure Igor will get reissues and beautiful colored pressings but with the alternate art. So yeah, I'm banking on a Tyler hypebeast stan dropping $$$ on my limited pressing whenever Supreme gets around to making a turntable.

Mike Patton, Jean-Claude Vannier - Corpse Flower

I have a strong aversion to anything Mike Patton related but I am a Vannier completest....

Looks like I have some serious decision making ahead of me.

Yeah. That's why I said "at least." For those that would care, with something like this, it should basically be a guilt free investment. They only print what is ordered and it's limited to 2 copies, so you're not even swiping a copy someone else could buy. You don't order it and it doesn't exist. The more that are ordered, the more it supports the artist. If people didn't order additional copies and only ordered them to keep, then anyone who missed out, wouldn't have an opportunity to nab one later, mark up or not.

So... there's your rationalization. Scoop dem up! Play one and throw the other one on your shelf, then break it out in a couple years to help pay for little Lisa's braces

Not even Fantomas?
I never did a deep dive with that stuff but what I did check out just didn't resonate with me. Perhaps that's partly due to the fact that at the time I was mainly listening to rap or experimental electronic music like Autechre and Mouse on Mars and the post FNM Patton projects weren't hitting the same sweet spots or were too far outside of my comfort zone.

I'm guessing that Tomahawk is a big no too, then. It's funny, because my friends that most love electronic music in that vein, most love Patton, as well.

I get that. FNM is still my favorite Patton project.

I'm fully willing to admit that preconceived notions have most likely fueled my distaste for MP.

Also, it's been like 15 years since I've even attempted to give Fantomas or Tomahawk a fair shake.
