I can't find it now but my last show was September 1, 2019 in Palo Alto and really wanted to buy a poster but I remember hating it so much I felt personally attacked.

The National always step up their poster game for Los Angeles. We have their 2018, 2019, and IAETF preview show posters up on our living room wall.

Those 2018 prints were gorgeous! I have a rule, I only buy prints from shows I attend, but I was so tempted to get those.

A lot of the ones I saw for this tour weren’t super good.

Fortunate the show I went to in 2019 had a good design.

My only poster is from 2007, a generic fall tour poster. I still dig it.

I think my fave print is from Union Transfer in 2019, done by Luke Martin. I have both the show print and the CT variant shown below. Still to be framed as they deserve a professional job with double mats rather than an off the rack frame.

Dallas always gets terrible posters. I'm just thankful I got one from the ATL Roxy show and Red Rocks to balance it out.

We have the blue and orange versions of this 2017 SWB poster they had for their mini-tour that passed through the Hollywood Bowl.



And the LA posters for the next two years of tours.






And the LA IAETF short film screening/preview show.



On the last poster, we randomly taped on a life-sized photo of our daughter yawning (that my father-in-law printed when he was testing his photo printer) back when she was a year old and we’ve never taken it off.

Indeed they do. I was lucky to find these two designs in the UK and they have been up in our dining room ever since.




Funny enough I've been looking for the 2019 design for a long time. To be honest, there's little room left for another frame, but I really dig the design - I just haven't found a copy yet. Awesome you got both of them!

And of course i prefer posters from shows I attended - buying at the event or via CT, but take a look yourself what we got in Gelsenkirchen this year.






Berlin on the other hand seems to be the German LA posterwise

I have the IAETF screening print from The Beacon theatre in my dining room and the Toronto print hanging over my turntables. Hard to get a good photo due to glare.



And the St. Augustine print next to a signed MB Serpentine Prison cover in my foyer.

So — why would I have to renew my membership in 2023 to secure my copy of CT volume 5? Isn’t that what my 2022 membership was for?
