The MSRP in this one has gone up a little bit since the last time it was in print. I picked up an original pressing for only $15 more than this from a local this past Spring.

gotta say i am delighted at the post-digital-scandal calming effect. a little bit of that rabid fomo vinyl-as-investment fever has settled down except for the hardcore audiophile or mofi-can-do-no-wrong stans

a good sounding record is a good sounding record, digitally sourced or not. in a silent way, sketches and jack johnson all sound fantastic and are worth picking up from MoFi. Jack Johnson will have a supervinyl release and sketches will have the one step, but the regular MoFi releases are really good.

A bit mad at MoFi who jacked up the price on JJ because it was supposed to be sold out. I think I paid $60 for it at the time. But glad more people will be able to enjoy it. I will try to get SoS and IaSW from Music Direct when this goes live.

i wouldn't wait personally for it to go on their site....you can call them to place an order. supposedly some people last night were told that some of the titles were sold out at MD already from phone orders. they haven't gone live at MoFi's site yet but they annoyingly charge more for shipping.

Remember with either retailer, you can ask that they ship the records outside of the sleeve to prevent splits.
 
I have the KG monos of Sketches and Milestones along with a recent reissue of JJ.

They all sound great, so I’ll poll the audience, do I need these from MOFI?

(I did get the IASW already)
