Pre-Order Thread

I got a tracking number for the new Beyoncé record (yay!!), but then got a text that there’s just 3 days left to order. Took a look around and found a “collector’s edition” of the vinyl with a slipcase, random poster, and a 36 page photo book (ships in October). I had no idea that there was a newer edition, and it surpasses what’s on the way. The rollout was….ambiguous to say the least. Anyways, the newer version is $44.98….

The one I got (which arrived today) was $32.98. So an extra $12 for a slipcase and photo book/poster, + this new one doesn’t ship ‘til October + I prefer the alternate cover. With that said, I’d definitely be upset if I was a super fan as this one seems to be the more “complete” package.

I saw this too. I was sort of salty but I am cool with the alternate cover album. I am just glad to get this on vinyl and I can’t wait to get the physical.

I’d be interested in just the remastered vinyl. And not at 100 bucks. Looking at the track list, it appears this is missing a song from the original release also.

i'm sure there will be a non-deluxe edition. I don't even think the press release has been sent out yet. Craft often updates their site early in the AM then sends out a newsletter later in the day to let people know about the release.

That's crazy! Good news is, this prompted me to open and check mine (arrived yesterday) and my copy looks great, so hopefully you get a good quality replacement. I haven't spun it yet, so I can't comment on sound quality.

Yeah I reached out already and they are going to have to wait until all the preorders ship before they can let me know.

I thought at first there was an issue with my wet clean and there was a bunch of water still; it looks that much worse in real life.
