Definitive Audiophile pressings

Looks like they're pricy now, but those 2017 definitive editions are excellent.

Not sure on the others but for Downward Spiral I think the best reissue is the “Definitive Version” That Reznor released back in 2017

I think He may have done “definitive versions” of all his other albums too but I only own Downward Spiral.

Also, these seem to get repressed consistently so it’s something you’re better waiting on and snagging when a repress drops then paying the excessive secondary market mark up after it goes of out of print.
 
Not going to bother with the mike@theingroove video or the discussion, but I always had some "digital" suspicions about the titles that mentioned either Shawn Britton or Rob RoVerde (the mofi's digital guys) for assisting Krieg Wunderlich (the vinyl guy).

This is where I must commend VMP for revealing what happened with Aretha's Spirit in the Dark, when they listened to Ryan Smith's advice on applying some digital corrections.
 
All their stuff since 2015 apparently, and in some cases even before that. We really don't know which MoFis are digital and which are analog from before then. 2008 Abraxas was one.

They are cut from 4x DSD though, so it's better digital than any digitally-sourced vinyl you are used too. Ridiculously high quality, and ridiculously good sounding results.
 
Dude, so got that Acoustic Sounds marketing email this morning pimping that "Michigan" Collection. They put up all the Mofi titles and holy fucking shit. Fuck these guys. Pretty much every title is 2 to 3 times the going rate on Discogs. What gives?
