Only 45 left.

On the bearded folky discussion ....

The best album was Noah and the Whales “The first Days of Spring” ..great album ..posh boy gets dumped by Laura Marling for a Bumford and Son..

.heartbreaking

Laura Marling then proceeds to make a number of albums that are so far better than both that it’s kind of embarrassing 😂

April was expensive for me, but not because of preorders.
Yeah, same. I just bought a whole bunch of records this month. A few pre-orders were mixed in but I am really trying to cut back on pre-orders overall because the lead time is crazy. I just assume wait until the album drops and picking it up at my local if I decide I need it. Theoretically this cuts down on impulse buys the problem is every time I go int my local I rarely walk out with just one album.

Man I wish I could avoid pre-orders, but listening to mostly hip-hop and with how those artists treat their releases in such limited quantities, I have to set up calendar reminders just so I can hope to land whatever the latest hot release is. It sucks waiting up to a year for the physical product, but it's that or pay discog prices.

Yeah, I tip my cap. You hip-hop collectors are another breed.
