Phish

How is the pressing? I assume it is out of GZ, correct?

Any warps, off-centered discs, other imperfections? They use poly-lined inner sleeves?

Just curious. I am on the fence about picking this one up. Especially since it'll likely sit on my shelves most of the year. It takes motivation (for me at least) to bust out a 12 LP boxset and listen through it. At the same time, if I don't get it now, it'll be $900 next week.
Oh sorry, I was talking about the streamin quality on Spotify.

My box is en route via UPS. Haven’t heard anything about them yet aside from DG actually packing them well. No negative reviews yet but I expect to see reviews today, hopefully. Visually it looks like a really great box, from posts I’ve seen on FB and Instagram. Will report back with anything I see!

I may have missed it but do we have any pressing #s for the box?

Boxed well. Heavy Double Box with crush space. Looks in good shape. Arrived FedEx. Going to have to wait till after work to get into the innards. Late supper tonight. Having Phish.

Just received mine and had a chance to open it up. Boxed very securely and my set seems to be in perfect condition. Cardboard sleeves is my only complaint so far. I loaded them all into anti-static sleeves, which gave me a chance to get eyes on each record. No warps or other visible issues. I put a few on the turntable just to be sure they were spinning flat and all were good. Didn’t have a chance to listen yet, but will start digging in later tonight with the goal of making it thru the full set over the weekend.

Flatbed Jam record showed up today from DG. Packing was all fine, but still got a pretty nasty seam split along the top of the sleeve. Always frustrating.
Since I took the time to make a post complaining about this I figured I should also take the time to update and say that DG replied to my email in less than 24 hours and has already sent out a replacement. Can't ask for much more than that!

Wasn't so lucky with the discs on this box set. Most of my orange LPs were not flat, the blue were for the most part. LPs 1-3 were comically bad - asked DG for a replacement on those three. Otherwise, the box is beautiful and the booklet is really nice. Playing the side with Life on Mars? and Hood now and it sounds great! As long as they can sort out those first three LPs, I'm very happy with this overall.

That's a bummer. Please let us know how DG responds. I've read a few other reports of bad warping on the orange discs from members on the Phish Vinyl Facebook group, and a few comments on Discogs about warping as well. I hope DG can help you out with this!

It was bound to happen to at least some of these sets, but thankfully it’s nothing major. DG already got back to me and said they’re working on replacements so that’s a good sign. The flat ones sound great though!

I played the first set of Clifford Ball and it sounded amazing, but disc two had a significant warp. Today I looked through the rest and the only one that isn't warped is disc 8. I'm so disappointed in how terrible the quality of the vinyl is. It's like they blew their budget on a cool box and book and forgot that the vinyl is the most important part of the damn thing. Really hoping that Dry Goods comes through, but at this point most of my box is unplayable (some of the warps are ungodly) so if they don't replace then I'm going to be pushing hard for a return, which really bums me out.

Sorry to hear that. You should add this review to Discogs so other people know.

Yeah, I probably will. I'm still just sitting here bummed out looking at it, haha. It's a real head scratcher given how great the recent rereleases have been that they would release such an expensive box and go cheap on the vinyl. I don't get it. I agree with @Colonel4Bin that the flat ones sounded fantastic.
