I love this band and missed that their new album came out a couple weeks ago. It's delivering on all my expectations. So fucking good.
If you're unfamiliar with The Neptune Power Federation, it's hard glam rock with a killer front woman. Lots going on in their albums and lots of inspirations converging. I'd recommend giving it a listen even if this isn't a typical genre you listen to, it's really groundbreaking music.

Cant believe its only the first week of March and Im already stressed out about the amount of acclaimed albums i haven't checked out yet! March is looking slower so hopefully I actually use this time to catch up before April hits and I get multiple albums every week that Im excited for!
Apparently, I got the new physical copy of Luna Li's Duality before it drops on March 4th. This one is a really solid album. Here's the single:

I was looking forward to seeing Luna Li open for Japanese Breakfast in SF last year but then we sold our tickets and saw JB here in Sacramento (with Sasami opening instead). It would have been nice to see her. She's definitely talented.

The single is not the best song IMHO. It's good, and somewhat representative of what is on the album (definitely gives you the vibe of the album), but the other songs get a bit more experimental which is *chef kiss* lovely for me.

I had this album on my radar list because I discovered the singles from it on BC a few weeks ago. What a find! This is the electro-pop, indie dance collaborative duo group Telefís' debut LP. It's a bit all over the place but It's definitely unique. Do yourself a favor and at least give it a try

REALLY enjoying this new album by CMAT! Can't put my finger on what it reminds me of but it's fun and poppy alt country with some killer songwriting!
