Definitive Audiophile pressings

Man, that price seems a lot higher than I remember. And at this point, I can buy the remaining 4 albums individually for a total of about $70! :D
expensively awesome, but I read this initially as Stevie Wonder boxset and almost fell off my chair! lol

someone should nominate it on the PBC thread ?

the Nina Simone AS pressings seem to be in stock here and 20% off. A Love Supreme is for sale there as well.
Proceed with caution. Sounds as though at least one buyer did not receive the AS variants of these.

Just picked up the Bellman cut of Californication and damn it sounds great. I’m not a huge Peppers fan but this album has the nostalgia factor for me. The CD I had growing up was always terrible but this sounds like a different record. There’s actually space to breathe in the music. Highly recommended.

i just ordered the KG cut of Stadium Arcadium. Keep missing the restock on Californication!

Looks like these were back in stock briefly. Nice to see they are still on the repress list.

Working like a dog yesterday so I missed the Instagram on my watch. 7hrs later the email announcement hit my phone but that was likely hrs after they were gone.

Strangely to the best of my knowledge the MoFi vinyl feature page never updated to show them in stock. 🤔
they went up on the "back in stock" page at MoFi but sold out very quickly.

Unfortunately side 2 of Californication had the dreaded distortion almost to a T from what VMP has been throwing out in their ROTM. Rest of the disc is absolutely perfect so that’s a shame. But here’s one that I haven’t ever gotten from Discogs:

Thanks,

Which is bullshit and I wouldn’t even know where to start trying to get a refund from Warner ha! Looks like they will work with me but still, that’s a shit policy that I’m sure would not hold up on a PayPal claim.

the AS Mingus x 5 sounds solid! RKS cut it. Also enjoying the Echo & The Bunnymen reissues but don't have any other pressings to compare to.
Mine was warped and had vinyl shrapnel hanging off the edge where it was cut. Also it feels lighter than 180 gram to me (not a big issue) and there’s no “QRP” in the dead wax like there has been on recent QRP presses. I honestly wonder if they had to press some of these elsewhere.

Chad mentioned in one of their videos a few months back that they were taking new space. I wonder if they’re in midst of a move and had to ask pressing help to keep up. All conjecture on my part.

I requested a replacement via Amazon - will see how the second one looks.

Kinda sounds like a Standard Vinyl pressing. The Harold Land - Westward Bound and Bill Evans Behind The Dikes were pressed there and the one's i got were warped and had really rough edges were it was cut.
