That was a problem with choosing a German record, but the bandcamp and label have decent shipping rates of 10€ for intl shipping, so it should come to around 50cad. I'll provide links later. I know that is not cheap and I can understand if that keeps people from buying. Maybe someone will find another link for can or us$71.71 on Canadian Amazon

Updated: still working on the rest of the pictures in clue #12 though....
Clue #1: Enrico Caruso's "Vesti La Giubba" was the #1 song (according to playback.fm) the day Mascha Kaléko was born.
Clue #2: Barry Manilow's "Mandy" was the #1 song the day Mascha Kaléko died.
Clue #3: The Knack's "My Sharona" was the #1 song when Dota Kehr was born on September, 14 1979.
Clue #4: Dota started out as a street performer in public markets?
Clue #5: Dota studied medicine in Berlin.
Clue #6: according to Wikipedia, one of Dota Kehr's babsitter's left behind a cassette of Ellis & Tom, and she fell in love with South American music
Clue #7: I think the label is based in Kreuzberg - I found this address on the label's website: Wrangelstr. 84, 10997 Berlin - which appears to be in Kreuzberg

The second to last image in clue #12 is Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church (Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche) which might be the same church referenced in the title of the 7th track on the album: "Julinacht An Der Gedächtniskirche".
EDIT: Mascha Kaléko's husband Chemjo Vinaver, who is pictures in the last image in clue #12 is mentioned in the title of the 8th track on the album: "Für Chemjo Zu Pessach 1944".
the second image in clue#12 (the emotions from "Inside Out") may be a reference to the 12th song on the album, "Kompliziertes Innenleben" which translates in English to "complicated inner workings"?

The third picture in Clue #12 is a reference to the second track on the bonus disc "Kleine Havelansichtskarte" which translates to "small postcard of Havel" (or something like that.
Just no idea on the Brad Pitt connection.

The first two in 12 are probably hard to solve for non-germans.
There are two songs that translate as " a supposedly beautiful death" and " complicated inner life"

I think the image is from Meet Joe Black, a movie where Brad Pitt's character dies.
He does not die , he is Death. " a supposedly handsome/beautiful death" which is what " ein sogenannter schöner tod" translates as
that is true, but I have a feeling that most people haven't seen it and was avoiding spoilers for a movie that is decades old for some reason
death comes to the living as Brad Pitt, and the characters negotiate terms. that accident scene is infamous though.excellent clue, I got death from the song but not that good of a translation.

I spent a lot of time going through online lists of German poets and trying to find connections on Discogs, haha. I remember once I found the Chemjo Vinaver clue and searched for that, Mascha Kaléko’s name was all over the search results, but I don’t think I saw that she was a poet and I incorrectly assumed that if a living artist was making songs based on poems that it would have to be a pretty famous poet in one of those lists. Happy that I was wrong though, haha!
It seems really odd, though, for example that Kaléko isn’t even listed in a fairly thorough list like this: List of German-language poets - Wikipedia
Excited to learn more about her and her poems, though, and also to explore Dota’s music.

Well done whoever solved this ..even though I now know the answer I’m still non the wiser
I'll try to give an introduction to both dota and mascha kaleko in my write up, but that'll take a little more time.i'll also try to provide some lyric translations to english.
Also, pm me your details and you'll get two sigbed dota gatefold double lps ( kaleko and her latest album that came out last week) as well as a small book i found about mascha kalekos poems with English translations, congratulations on solving this.
