Second spin though this and while I love the bonus material I really don’t think it’s a huge upgrade over the original (crappy sounding) release and that makes me sad.
I love that this record was recorded by a UW student at the student union. I used to see so many shows in both student unions at UW... Appleseed Cast, David Bazan, Yo La Tengo, Benevento Russo Duo...loved them summer shows out on the Terrace. Cold beers and the summer breeze off the lake, then the (slightly) drunken bike ride home.
Yeah, it’s really cool to have a recording from a major artist taken from a show at the Union. Really hoping that at least the outdoor Terrace shows can continue this summer!

Thanks! It is the "limited" -- I've had it for ~4 months set up with the Hana ML cart. I ordered it about a year ago. I've enjoyed it a lot -- though we left the city right when it arrived so this is one of my first weekends with it. I'm not totally convinced I have the anti-skating/VTA dialed in, but it all lines up on the protractor... It's pretty neat and I feel lucky to have it
