Same, but I found the gold CD Mofi "Sea Change" for a very good price, and it's amazing, so that's a potential substitute.

I realize I'm a very bad person for mentioning digital here. Mea culpa.

I am NAWWWT doing that. Look at that thing, it's like 2 feet tall. Where the hell would it even go? I like Volta but I don't think anyone needs 18 discs of Volta.

Plus you want $500 you better give me more pressing info than "180 gram".

Yeah, think I need an azimuth adjustment on my end. Need to swap my Fluance headshell to one that supports it first though. Waiting for my local hi-fi shop to get some in-stock then I'm going to get it all sorted out. Upside is, once it's properly aligned I will have two lovely copies of AS Sarah Vaughan, AP La Woman, and VMP Billie Holiday heheheheh. Shouts out customer support.
 
PSA in case anyone is interested in a discounted Degritter ultrasonic record cleaner:

Looking for one myself, I found a hifi dealer selling their in-store “demo” unit for $2,350 plus shipping in U.S. I have no connection to the dealer and haven’t seen the unit, but my understanding is the unit has cleaned 50-75 records, is in very good condition, and comes w/ all packaging and the like. It's the black model.

I was about to pull the trigger, but a different shop offered me a nice demo unit at a better price. Please PM me if you’re interested, and I’ll pass along the dealer’s contact info. I think it’s ready for shipment b/c he was going to sell it to me.

I might see if I can get a rip of the CD since I doubt I’ll find the vinyl anywhere for any amount I’d want to actually pay for it!
