Definitive Audiophile pressings

Random question that popped into my mind relevant to this thread: is any new music being recorded and pressed AAA? I know that AAA is not the end-all be-all, but looking at all the marketing behind reissues I just wonder if it's something that current artists are doing or if it's just become too costly.
Here’s another recent album that was at least recorded in analog — unsure of the mixing/mastering chain. Awesome record if you’re into meditative jazz.

Fuck stampers, lacquers, fathers, mothers, and vinyl records. My homies only listen to master tapes.
Yeah, I just have the bands come by and play private concerts in my living room. Covid restrictions being what they are, many artists are open to it and lots of times it’s cheaper than many of the Audiophile releases listed here. For example Bob Dylan’s 2 hour set was great though he did drink all of my Sunny D and threatened to kick my cat (apparently Bob’s a dog guy). Blood On The Tracks One Step eat your heart out.

Whatever you do, don't book Weezer. The standard package is just Rivers Cuomo reading his blooody awful poetry to you. He is nice enough but he brings his yappy little shi tzu dogs and they crap everywhere.

To get things back on track, saw a short little interview with Big Daddy Kev, who also apparently goes by Kevin "Boom Boom" Gray according to discogs. Not my edit :ROFLMAO:

He said some of his favorite reissue projects to work on were: Fleetwood Mac – Rumours, Steely Dan – Aja, Pink Floyd –Dark Side of the Moon, all the CCR stuff. I didn't realize he did all those Motown in Mono pressings from last year.

Did he whisper this in your ear or did he send it to you telepathicly? (there is no correct answer here)

Anybody own any of the Cisco pressings of albums? I grabbed a copy of the KG cut of American Woman today on discogs but this label completely slipped by me and now lots of pressings seem to be very $$.

I have a Cisco of Herbie Hancock’s Takin Off mastered by Kevin “Doctor Groove” Gray. It sounds fantastic and I should really play it more. I also have the Super-Cut Analogue Disk version of Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio- Misty which sounds absolutely wonderful as well. Bought that one at a hole in the wall record store in Sapporo which was pretty neat.

Nice one. I was eying that Herbie and One Flight Up awhile ago but then the BN reissues came out. I was somewhat shocked to see that the KG Aja cut is insanely expensive! Didn't even realize he did a pressing of that until today...I did see that Misty pressing today too but own a japanese press of that already. Cool album!

Have any of you picked up that Public Enemy Greatest Hits 2 LP RSD release? It was delayed, came out last month. It's pressed at Pallas but I don't have any other info...

I really wish they would remaster their albums for vinyl spread over two discs for It Takes a Nation and Fear. I would buy those up so fast.

I'm interested in this one if you see it somewhere with international shipping.

Anyone ever receive an AP pressing with an open outer cello sleeve? Like the thin perforation already taken off, gone?
