Vinyl Me Please Country

Does Shogun Willie fit the one real clue of "widely considered the best country album of all time" that they gave on Twitter? I really don't think it does.
I'm sure in storf's opinion all 70 (95+?) Willie studio albums are the best country album of all time.

It does seem like a good choice outside of that.

Yeah, I'm still leaning on the first month being Folsom Prison but Shotgun Willie being included in the following three-month announcement.

I think Red-Headed Stranger might be more likely now, but still think Folsom Prison or the other guesses we had before are more realistic than Shotgun Willie based on the clue.

Yeah, I would say it’s up there. Willie made a handful of stone Classic LPs but most would likely agree Redheaded Stranger would be the cross genre classic but to people that adore C&W music Shotgun Willie is kinda perfect.

On the top of my wishlist for this sub was a good reissue of Dwight Yoakam "Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc, Etc" since ive heard bad things about the 2014 reissue.
But I suddenly noticed tracks disappearing on Apple Music and saw that Dwight is suing Warner over Music rights on the masters. So I pulled the trigger on an original press of this which I'm happily listening to now, since we may not be able to get a new pressing of this for a longggggg time.
