Regarding my review of the Sarah Vaughan yesterday, it turns out, sounds fantastic my copy was just exceptionally dirty 😂. I got my first Spin Clean yesterday, and oooooweeee, did not realize how dirty new records could be and how much it could affect sound.

Oh dude, it's night and day when it comes to wet cleaning. That's great you've got that now.
 
Has anyone has shipping for any on the ROTM's yet? I usually get it around this time but have had some replacements pending since the last week of December. Usually, they would ship straight away so just want to check that there isn't an issue with my orders. I have sent VMP an email anyway so hopefully they get back soon.

Nothing at all for killer Mike yet, not even an email like usual

I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's covid causing issues, I wish they'd explain though

Received mine. I'd say it's still too early to start worrying. Mine have shipped out mid-month in the past.

My Killer Mike is out for delivery. If you don't have a shipping notification by Friday, I would send an email but I wouldn't start worrying yet.

I had both Nina Simone titles on pre-order from deep discount. they didn't deliver & jus cancelled my order after a while.

I've since pre-ordered again, along with oh mercy on the basis they will get more stock in. who knows when that might be. But these releases seem to be so expensive in the UK. Just at the time when the exchange rate is in our favour.

It was just a case of waiting it out. I picked up Pastel Blues from Amazon after it inexplicably dropped the price to £22 for about an hour and picked up I Cast A Spell On You from the excellent Flipside in Cardiff's Discog store for about £30.

The cheapest I saw the Coltrane's was the Wax Buyers Club store. Worked out at about £30 each delivered.

I'm still waiting on Sarah Vaughan and Clifford Brown's to dip under £40 though

On listening I'd have paid £35 for Pastel Blues. Happily

Cheers, some good tips. Never expected Amazon to sell it for that price, whenever I've looked is has been about £38

I got the 2 Coltrane's for I think about £25 each from Deep Discount (it was a $55 bundle offer). Sarah Vaughan I have on pre-order (I can't remember where), but haven't seen a reasonable price for the Clifford Brown.

With Deep Discount, you can generally get them for around £26, or thereabouts. They just aren't always that reliable, and have a habit of overselling pre-orders.

Mine is in USPS limbo as well and already have a "wait for it" email from VMP for a few more days. I will undoubtedly not get the Margo Price live album that was in the box if they replace them.
