All Things King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

They just responded and said they figured it out. Some of the sides will have 26 minutes of music but the track listing should be updated on the site. Not sure how to feel about that but 🤷 at least they are being transparent when asked and they actually put the track listing up.
Yeah, they just emailed me the same thing. 26 minutes is a lot of music on one side. These things may sound a bit squashed. That Diggers Factory coupon code above (WEDIG15) brought the total of the 5 live shows (14 LPs) to $93 shipped to the US from France. Crazy!

I’ll be curious how these boxes turn out. As long as in a year someone has a 3xLP of some of these shows out I’ll take a gamble.

Noticed Diggers Factory threw that entire head/on from Adelaide on one side. 😬 seems everything is going to have some form of a nitpick.

Says "Digital Download" for Head On/Pill. Wondering if Diggers Factory isn't even going to press that on Side B of the 3rd record? This is getting stupid. I'm done for today. Ha ha.

I forgot about the Romanus Records drop today, not that I was looking to order because I already ordered the Salty Dog "Teenage Gizzard", but was surprised to see how fair the price seemed on the bundle considering the glow in the dark sand variant was $85 alone, but the bundle was $110.

when I looked earlier it seemed that Digger's Factory was doing 3xLP across the board on the live shows, but now looks pretty 50/50, so probably used where needed. the prices are also on the lower, if not lowest end I've seen for these shows for solid color variants. looks like at least one show got a splatter (maybe deluxe?) treatment that's more than double the standard price.

but seems worth considering if you want the shows intact without spending an arm and a leg.

Vinyl purchase – Limited editions - Diggers Factory

EDIT: looks kind Asheville is the only 2xLP

Did NeedleJuice ever address the track listing dilemma?
They put the tracks in the right order now, but they won't go up to 3xLP pressings for certain shows because they said it would cost $220 for the box set instead of $150. Plus I'm sure they've already sold a bunch of these boxes already, so cant change plans now.

Anyways, now the Paris and Brussells shows have a few long sides, upwards of 26 and 27 minutes (see my quote above). Which, in my opinion is likely going to sound less than ideal. They'll have to compress the audio on these shows to fit that much info onto a single side of the record. Also, the overall volume is gonna end up being pretty low, I would imagine.

I ended up cancelling and they refunded me. Went witj the plain old Diggers Factory single color pressings. $91 shipped for 14 LPs. Also, I think they'll come out sounding cleaner being more sides and not using, the bizarro 3 vinyl-variants-in-one that Needle Juice is selling.

I might end up doing the same thing

I'm still trying to figure out if Diggers Factory intends to press the 30 min Head On/Pill to a single side (hope not), or if it'll be a digital download (hope not), but the website suggests the download. Hopefully they can just fade it in and out across sides. Not perfect, but that's what the Grateful Dead does with live shows.

I backed this for the head on/pill, 45 rpm with a split that’s at least been thought out. Reminded me of that 40 minute playin in the band the dead put out a couple years back.

Well, you’re an excellent salesman—you’ve sold me!!!
Ended up grabbing the Diggers Factory 5 show set.
$93 and they are stated to arrive starting in March,
Needlejuice is June.

Needlejuice’s variants look great for the box set,
but for $60 cheaper and less music crammed on single sides, Diggers quickly becomes an easy choice.

ugh... anyone get any word on this? not sure I'd switch my Needlejuice order if "Head On/Pill" is not going to be on the vinyl.

while I do love the boys for being so free and open with their music with these releases, sometimes it just creates more headache than if they just did it themselves.
