interesting post on the Gizz reddit that the band may have uploaded wrong/inferior files for "Teenage Gizzard" causing a bunch of the tracks to sound like bad MP3s which apparently isn't the case with the CD rip that was recently provided to the band to do this bootleg project. not sure if anyone doing a pressing of Teenage Gizzard will realize this and fix it, but might be worth noting going into this one, especially if there will be versions that end up using better versions of the affected tracks.

Well, guess I'm done looking at the Live albums. Good price, fair shipping. Maybe a bit overzealous on those mock-ups? Though, the Poly version from Needle Juice that I own turned out real nice.
I ordered the Needlejuice Live Bundle as well. I agree with your points and I have their Poly as well, and while it wasn't my favorite it was pretty good and they've only had more experience with having their records pressed since then, so I am hoping it turns out good!
I have the Demos ordered as well, so now I just need a Teenage Gizzard, which I am a waiting on a bit since there seems to be an issue with the files provided for the first 4 songs so trying to wait out on someone who confirms their using better files if/when they become available.

Looks like Aural Pleasure is going to at least be doing Demos. Possibly the live stuff as well, these would be the doubles I get if they come to fruition. Nothing has touched that Poly.

Yeah, I just read this post as well. I'll probably get AP's Demos. His Poly was very good. I'm gonna spin it now actually.
I already ordered the Demos, but if he does Teenage Gizzard I would be very interested since he will only do it if he gets the high quality files.

Not sure anybody is gonna make Teenage Gizz sound good based on the lineage and what they were recording with in 2010. That's the release last on my list.
it's not going to sound good in an extremely polished and well produced sense but as been pointed out several times now on their reddit is that the first 4 songs provided by the band are not lossless files and will in fact sound worse than the rest of the songs on the same record.
while early Gizz is some of my least favorite Gizz "Teenage Gizzard" is the one I want the most as it's their first studio recording and is in my opinion the most integral of all these Official Bootleg releases to my Gizz collection, as such I am hoping someone is able to press a version that will sound consistent and as good as is possible.

Romanus Records confirmed they have the legit .wav files for Teenage Gizz. I might go for the sand or splatter version then.
glad to hear it. I mentioned it to them on their Instagram posts and they were contacting me on IG messages at first that there wasn't an issue and then I sent them additional reddit posts about the situation and they said they were going to look into it so I'm guessing that maybe they have since been provided better files than what the band provided.
