Wilco (The Thread)

Hmm, the show on the CD sounds more appealing to me and will probably be the one on streaming services as well.

Here's a better picture of the Foil Cover Box.
I may have already purchased the Color version:

Whoa whoa! I have a very nice Summerteeth vinyl pressing, but this one... I might buy it just for the artwork!

(Okay, then, also for the other stuff... but but)

kinda wish I had jumped on this, it is my favorite Wilco album but the colored version sold out. I’ll try my luck at getting a deal on the black version somewhere down the line. Really excited to hear more treasures that they dig up from these sessions!

New Jeff Tweedy up for preorder. No physical options yet though.

Interesting that this is a Jeff release and not a "Tweedy" release even though it's just him and his sons. Either way, I'm super excited for this.

Really looking forward to this one. Looking at the track list, I recognize at least half of these songs from performances on the Tweedy Show over the past few months - gonna be cool to hear more polished versions now.

And speaking of the Summerteeth reissue, I might like this version of the title track better than the album version:

I got mp3s of the Wilcovered comp this week finally, so I can listen a lot more than having to spin the CD in my Xbox. PM me if you want them and I'll try to get them to you soon.

One year later and Ode to Joy keeps growing on me. Such a great headphone listen.

Oh yes! Absolutely love it now. A grower for sure, but it's like a friendship that started out cautiously but ended as a very close one. I especially love the low key, almost hidden hooks on it. And the percussion and drums. The percussion and the dry drums!
