piggybacking on what i said earlier about rick wright songs not getting much attention, give me summer 68 over if and fat old sun any day. they’re all great songs, but rick’s is my preference on this album.

david gilmour surprised lots of fans when he included this track on his 2006 tour setlist. obscured by clouds is probably the hidden gem in the floyd discography, tucked away between meddle and dark side of the moon, and showed they could make a good record in a short amount of time.
