Yeah and I've found a bit too much that she kept sending an email every day before Bandcamp day to say there are some 'exclusives" available in store the next day. Apparently she'll have signed version of her two albums today. [EDIT] and she sells her signature for £7 more.

You will like it just as much. Coltrane is a man eager to find independence and he expresses his desire with passion in his solos. Davis, on the other hand, is confident and plays with poise and grace. The contrast works to great effects on these dates, certainly. I wish Columbia will get to issuing the 3/22 concerts in Stockholm on vinyl, too.

Hi mate, hows that Mingus Detroit box you picked up? noticed it going for £30 so wondering whether to jump on it at that price.

Its a really great set, well worth picking up. I believe the original tapes were given to BBE by the drummer, Roy Brooks', widow and from there they built up the story. The extras are decent as well, plenty of info in the booklet and if memory serves me there is also a replica poster from the original event. Theres hours of music on there and for £6 a record its worth it IMO.
I can only see the CD box at this price, where did you found the LP box at £30?

Looks to be on Discogs for £32. I'm quite tempted myself - love Mingus and the only thing that stopped me was its high price (it's equivalent of £90 here in Norway). Always envious of @Selaws getting it gratis

Yeah, I'll second that recommend for the Mingus box, I preordered it back when it came out , certainly worth 30 bucks .
