Huh? My comment is clearly not in any way anti-Quebec. It's a simple statement of fact with a few lighthearted links to back it up, but if that's how you want to interpret it 🤷‍♂️
Sorry, it appears as though my poor phrasing is getting me in trouble.
I for one enjoy poking fun at Quebec as much as possible.
I definitely see how my comment would be taken as criticism for Quebec bashing, which was poor wording on my part.
The land of Poutine is a weird place where rivers of maple syrup gold flow

It's all good! My defensive reaction is because half of my family lives in/around Montreal and I absolutely LOVE it there. I was born and raised in the GTA but I'd take Montreal over Toronto any day of the week. Every year when I visit family I smuggle Montreal smoked meat back to Scotland. I cannot for the life of me find real cheese curds over here though, which is heartbreaking.

@Turbo I'm sorry if I've made you sad, honestly wasn't trying to bash Quebec maybe just poke fun at but I live in Winnipeg, a place that is often joked as being the last place people want to live and so I understand how someone's jest can be hurtful.
If I've offended, I am sorry, it was not my intent

I'd take Montreal over Toronto any day of the week. Habs fans are passionate in a good way, I wish Maple Leafs fans were the same :p
Also, yes, Montreal Smoked Meat is amazing

This has all been a very Canadian exchange. Very wholesome.

Don't sweat it man... I was actually trying to figure out how someone from Winnipeg could make fun of us... :p

As a Habs fan, I hate the Leafs, but I have to say that in general, I like the Leafs fans I meet. I say that as someone that went to games a lot when I lived in Montreal (and still manage to go 3-4 times a year). Leafs fans always show up in big numbers. But I've always had good exchanges with them despite the rivalry. Not sure why. Maybe, there's a mutual respect in there somewhere. Oddly enough, I always found Sens fans to be the most difficult of all the Canadian fanbases. And I have them around me all the time now.

Just received an email saying my Glass Animals deluxe was delayed but I've already have had a shipping notice on it and it's supposed to arrive today 🤷‍♂️
Lol. This was a bday present for my daughter. I got shipping notice on the 12. It sat in shipped until today. Friday I sent them an email asking about that. Got a form letter response (apparently they use the same software VMP does).
Yesterday, I got an email with the same tracking number and a link to tracking it. No explanation or nothing. Then just before one today, the delay email. Smh.

I don't even know what this album is but I ordered it because everything they put out is awesome. MOV loves them some Slowdive.
It's a compilation of their first 3 ep's minus a few songs. They left off Avalyn II which is the long instrumental version of the track that Greg Araki used during the opening credits for his movie Nowhere. They also left off their cover of Golden Hair by Syd Barrett which sucks because it's a great cover.

Otherwise it's a good comp. Cheers!

How thick is the sleeve? Is it one of those kinds that could cause outgassing?

I'm actually out of town this week and had it re-delivered by UPS to a friend's house nearby. That pic is the pic they sent me. I'm hoping that clear sleeve goes into something a little sturdier though because it looks really flimsy.

I'm not familiar with outgassing though? it sounds like a really clinical term for a fart. In other news, I went to a friends house this weekend and he was saying how his parents wouldn't let him or his siblings say "fart" when they were little, so they had to say "poo smell," as in, "Gregory made a poo smell." He grew up in Australia, so maybe that's more common in Australia? Just seems overly descriptive for my taste.

Anyway so I just googled outgassing and it sounds like it's an issue with a certain type of PVC sleeve - the kind that is usually used with a picture disc (to show off the picture on the disc, I assume)? yeah it could definitely be that from the pic - but I think that outgassing would only be a problem if I left it in there for like, at least a few months, right?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Try years. It takes a while for those things to break down. Personally, I've only ever had it be a problem with one (non-picture disc) 7" and it caused some weird fogginess on the (colored) vinyl. It was about a 12-year old 7" and it was like that when I got it so who knows when in that time period it happened. Counter-example, I have two 30+ year old 7" picture discs that were in those type of sleeves and have no issue from when I got them (they've since been separated from the sleeves by poly inners).
