I've send them videos right away, but they didn't respond so far. Good luck they soon respond to you. :)
 
Still haven’t received Sahara so I emailed CS this morning. Heard back within a few hours. This was their response:

“Thanks for reaching out.The Sahara record experienced some unexpected delays and is now shipping in August. I'm really sorry about the delay, as I know you were anticipating it arriving sooner. You'll receive an email once it officially ships.”

So it’s delayed until August? Even though other people already have been getting theirs? And they weren’t going to bother letting me know of course without me asking.

I would buy way more vinyl from VMP if CS would respond quicker to issues. Often I think about buying some exclusives from them, but then I think I can't be bothered with possibly having to deal with their custom service again for weeks. It's really sad, because otherwise they're quite good.

Jason got responded to me and I'm receiving a new Shabaka record. (I've used cc' ing Matt yesterday). Hope the new Shabaka version will be fine, I'll let you know once I have it. Happy they've responded. 🙂👍 Good luck to all waiting on CS. 🍀

They are, VMP just *ahem* overlooked a ton of orders across all the subs because of a conveniently times glitch in their system.

They still haven't responded to me and I asked the same fucking question over a week ago.

And yet I was told on Friday that it was just a technical glitch that caused the delay and I'd be receiving a shipping notice this week (not yet). They've definitely screwed up somewhere, but I'll follow up to see if what CS was told to tell people last week turned out to be untrue.

VMP is having a serious case of awful logistics again. Anybody could have told you that BarKays was going to get swapped like crazy. VMP has been counting on all the classics subscribers to keep just accepting every album they feed them and people have gotten smart to it. There are only so many cheap titles they can get away with pressing and charging $30 for.

They have pushed their buy two months get one free promo so hard that they now have more members than albums being pressed. It’s wild that they couldn’t have predicted this.

It also doesn't help that swaps seem to be literally the same albums month after month.

I remember seeing a lot of #teamnoswap type tags surrounding Classics back on the old forum, I think they've actually bought into what they were peddling and think that mediocre choices will sell out.

I was on the no swaps classics train until the selections started sucking as they plundered the dollar bin for titles. Now it’s maybe 1 good title every 4 months on classics.
