Pre-Order Thread

So you're a Taylor fan?

I resigned myself to the prospect of collecting every Taylor Swift album on vinyl ever since I scored this:

RIP me once she re-records her first five albums.

One of the reasons this community is great is that people are unafraid to be themselves. Prior to joining this community I was unaware that so many middle aged men were part of Taylor Swift’s fan base. It’s nice to have so much open mindedness when it comes to musical taste. If anyone suggests that this forum is full of music snobs or elitists I am gonna just show them this thread. We are music sobs and elitists...with a Pop sensibility.
Wasn’t a fan of hers till last year, but now I’m really into most of her music. Up until then I’d maybe be more reserved about sharing if I liked it but then I thought...who cares? Good music is good music, and I like what I like. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This should sell out in 5 mins
So tempted but I have to pass...agh. Why all this vinyl pre-ordering seem to be happening this week?

Should I buy this? The Dead VMP Anthology will be my intro. Fomo is fomo-ing
Welcome. Also I don’t know much about this show personally, but there are a few more reasonably priced (sorta) live sets I’d suggest over this one as a newcomer.

for somebody whois a newbie to the Dead i would highly recommend the Europe '72 album a top notch live performance of the Dead at their prime in my opinion.
That's in the Anthology though, yeah? I guess my advice (for whatever it's worth) would be to sit tight on the Anthology delivery and see what you think. The Dead evolved so much over time and you may find that you gravitate toward one time period over another. For the all the negativity it received when it was announced, I think it's a well-rounded batch of Dead essentials. Are there holes? Of course. There's no way to avoid that with a band this prolific. But you may find that set to be all you need. If not, the options are almost literally endless.

8 variants of Taylor Swift...poor show

Ian Dury “Do it Yourself” had 36 wall paper sleeve variants ..now that’s collecting

Let me guess, you have too keep buying more copies to see what variant you get. When you open it up it's a surprise. So in reality you have to buy more than 36 to collect them all.
