Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I'd like to thank VMP for their absolute and total lack of organisation, preparation and the foresight to anticipate such a fiasco after spending the entire month winking and nudging about the fantastic swaptions, then doing what they do best: being incredibly incompetent. Once again, my judgment on giving them another chance has been shown to be a poor call. They better wow people with the options next month or they will see people leave, if they haven't already. (Also kudos on what I predicted a few pages before: a very underwhelming selection of records to choose from. Don't get me wrong, I love All Mirrors, but it's not what I think is top of the bill regarding Angel Olsen or their record selection.)

I have this crazy solution where, after apologizing, they don't do a, "oops, deal with it and dig through what's left over" OR pick something random for you. because... you know... both are ladies, but they ask the customer if there's anything in particular that they're interested in and offer to try and help them swap for it. It's insane, I know.

How about consult people who missed out on the record they wanted on what they want to replace it with. That's a radical idea, right?

I literally told them that last month when they did this, because that letter about Desert Daze was fucked. Change their order, wait for the swaps to get wiped out, and then say, "Hey. We fucked that up. Better see what's left." They decided this was a better move.
 
I just got the email too. I actually think it's kind of cool that they at least swapped it to next months rare swaps, they could have just said sorry sold out here's your salt n pepa .. I have skull snaps already (I love it) I wonder what other people are getting swapped too.

I just emailed them regarding it if they had Cornelius or UGK available, so we'll see how that goes. Next month is going to be the make or break moment if I even consider continuing with them from now on.
