Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

So I will say good things, made it through the first 3 LP set of the Woodstock set, and this is definitely an enjoyable listen and the sound (particularly on the Hendrix performance) is pretty solid. I'm happy with the $6.90 that went towards Woodstock One and look forward to exploring more of the box set.

I'm thinking we get maybe a couple Women of Motown or Stax Boxsets at some point. But I mean like... a couple. I think they must have put something like 50 Woodstocks in there at least. Judging by how many people seem to have gotten it.

I think they want to make a splash with membership to keep excitement and engagement up. I think there's going to be some big big stuff in there. But only a copy or two.

I wonder if they might break up the Motown and Stax boxes and put the individual albums in Swaps. Especially if they only have 5 of a set, that way you get 40 people super happy with their swaps vs. just 5.

That's very possible too, but... It waters down the product, I'm not sure that they'd do that. As well I don't know that they have control over that. I believe these are all pretty much packaged together as a set. In order to get the separate albums it would be a whole supply chain thing with new sku codes for each album and someone at the warehouse having to break the box sets down. I dunno, I don't see them going to the trouble. But maybe it's easier than I'm making it out to be... could be...
 
Meanwhile. I placed an order for Norah Jones and two other records on 20th at 11:53 and received the shipping notice the same day at 19:15. The parcel is en route to DHL distribution center. I am not a member, I used the discount code and had free shipping. Don't ask me how it's possible.

Everybody's setups on here look amazing and like they're straight out of a store catalog while my poor ass ghetto system involves a 10-year-old desktop's soundcard and computer speakers.

Sure, they're $150 Harman/Kardon speakers but still...

My setup is so basic too but I do like it! It’s nothing fancy but at least when I play a high quality pressing on the setup, my ears are like 😍😍😍

They can barely get shipping the entire box right, I’m still waiting on Woodstock, I hope they don’t attempt to break up those Stax boxes, although I’d swap Salt N Pepa for anyone of them in that box.
