Yeah - if you dig more - you'll find a ton of spouses/partners posted the effusive, "We love VMP" crap. I'm not sure who sfiedler is, Matt's wife's name starts with an E as does her user name. But if this is a burner account they set up to just pile on positive comments so that the negative ones get lost, then even more ew.

If you're using a discount code to make it cheaper than the other retailers, it makes sense. But I still don't trust VMP to ship it until June, and they'll probably cancel several orders due to shipping errors (aka oversell) anyway.

If I had to venture a guess, they're just tagging people wrong within the system they're using. Basically they've made it so anyone can make an account but haven't tagged what accounts should be getting free shipping and which shouldn't.
