Question: is "Slide" by Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean and Migos considered a pop song? It's not gonna be one of my three but I would say it's probably one of my faves of the decade

When whittling down my nominations I definitely tried to keep in mind both how big the song was and how much it encompassed the decade. Likely if I was just picking my 3 favorites, they would be different. Though I do really really enjoy all 3 I picked.

Definitely. "Call your Girlfriend" likely would have been in my top 3 if I did my favorites. Its really a perfect pop song

Oh wow, looking at that list I am so mad at myself for excluding "Royals." That song was a major paradigm shift in pop music and helped pave the way for people like Billie Eilish in the first place. If we're doing this based on pure impact that song deserves to be in the top five easily
