Hhhhh To be honest I've not been a member for a few months now. In a weird way I think it's stopped me from going out and looking for new music myself, even when I've not been hyped over the records arriving at my doorstep. But I don't want to see them sink themselves, some of my most-played LPs have come through them and I would very much like them to get to a point where they drop something I'd like and I can trust them to deliver it. Except for theorhetical When the Pawn... pressing, which is hopefully non-member-specific like The Idler Wheel*, I don't see it happening soon.

*I have one coming for a friend, so I'm at least a little in this mess as well. Didn't get one for myself because I have an original press and figured since it doesn't look like it's limited I could get one at a later date if it turned out to be an upgrade. Maybe not by this point, but we'll see.

Because the forum is on a loop and we come back to every topic every 3 or 4 months. A slight glitch in the matrix has bumped it from the cafe thread to the dystopian post nuclear apocalypse thread.

Strange to call this that when I know there's a politics thread. That's just how the forum be, are there ever that many topics to discuss anyway? Just nice to see the forum same as it ever was.

I haven't even sent an email to them but received two of these last night, still waiting on (essentials, classic) to ship, seems to be a mass email sent out to everyone not receiving their packages yet

Honestly my instinct is that it’s 60/40 in favour of them being gone but if it does happen it’ll be quicker than June.

If you think the problems began with the migration then you’ve been burying your head in the sand for a long time. The migration issues are not an anomaly, they are symptomatic of the the types of mistakes VMP has been making since I’ve been a member, that’s March 2018, 21 months ago.

And I'll extend that timeline - they've had issues since I was a member - perfume genius (was that 2014 or 15?). They handled the issues far differently and way better (swoosh, ben webster) but the issues have been around since the beginning.

I have sent two emails in the last few weeks, reached out on IG and FB and received zero response, not even the canned email everyone else is receiving. Still no shipping confirmation and none of my records showing up. Ugh.

Yeah that's super frustrating and one of the reasons I haven't sent them anything regarding the status of these records because of everything I've been reading here.
