That makes sense to me too. I have a preordered from 2021 stat but only am adding to it as they arrive for the purposes of keeping track of what I bought this year as opposed to last.

I've been pretty good on not buying too much in the last couple years: added 33 last year and 9 in 2020, focusing on all-timers, new releases by my top-tier favourite artists, and albums that have particular value on vinyl (i.e., an audiophile version). I've been buying some more used CDs for pennies and enjoying that. Planning on making some hardware upgrades in the next couple months so I can increase my enjoyment of the records I already have. I'd like to sell a handful of records I don't listen to and get back to an average of 1 net addition per month.

Well it wasn’t even on discogs until I added it…KG seemingly recut a lot of the Sundazed catalogue when he moved into cohearant but there’s no way to tell unless you see the deadwax.
